Protex sewing machines

There is a Protex walking foot machine for sale nearby and although I haven't been to look at it I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about Protex TY - 0618 - 1?

I did a google search and came up with a few leads. It looks like it's sold under several different brand names, not surprising.

I didn't get it the spects but they look like the same basic machine. Looks like it might work ok for leather work. Hope this helps.

Thanks very much for your help, John. It looks as if it is sold under many diff. guises, as no doubt, many other items are! I thought I'd get some help here from the other members knowledge. It's a real font of information.
