  1. thanks I will see what I can come up with. the white thing in the picture is to keep my camera from color adjusting the whole picture and leaving the masks looking a different color other than they are. some one suggested this and it works pretty good, but I did not have a good enough set up to keep it far enough out of frame to crop the picture properly this time. so a light box it is then.
  2. just over a day left to these auctions.
  3. very interesting tool I had such a tool in mind for making smaller units as straps for gauntlets and bracers. did not know they made them from wood. any real reason why they should be wood instead of say steel?
  4. there are short videos on each of the auctions too. any crits on those or the method of photography would be appreciated too. still trying to refine this process for sure. fire elemental mask eBay auction link Green hornet mask eBay auction link Red Dragon mask eBay auction link Black bandit mask evilbay auction link Green lantern mask ebay auction link

  7. hello, I just joined the forums after watching for a while. I believe it was Tom banwell that mentioned this site over on the Brassgoggles.co.uk forums. not sure though. it was definitely some one over there that mentioned this place. and boy were they right. seems to be a LOT of nice people all doing some amazing things with leather here. a picture of some of my past work. I have been working with leather since my early teen years, and have been using just about every source I can find to obtain leather and tools. made quite a few tools too like a bevel-er that cuts a rounded bevel on the corners of the leather rather than the flat one that they sell at tandy, I also make a number of metal items too. been away from mask making up until about a year and a half ago so my skills have rusted a bit, (as seen in the above pictures) but I plan on making a constant effort to work with my leather skills now. if anyone has any questions feel free to ask away. I will be around reading a lot more and looking at a lot of the work here in the evenings.
