  1. Those are really nice iPad covers, really nice work. Wish I could produce something that nice. For now, I have to practice and I need an iPad cover for myself. What did you line your iPad covers with? What keeps your iPad from slipping out of the cover? I also will be sewing by hand. Thanks, JourneyLeather
  2. Hi how much do you want for the combs and can u ship to Canada? My email is co2tww@hotmail . Com . Thx, much appreciated

  3. A friend of the family has made me a stitching horse, same design, was wondering where to get the 'spring' and the other 'gadget' in your pic made of metal with 'teeth' looks like a heavy saw. Is this something you had custom made or is it something that is used for something else but adapted for this purpose? Thanks, Journey Leather
  4. Your key words are you are willing to 'go anywhere'. I personally would love to take a class here: http://www.leathercourses.co.uk/ And looking at what you do you may find their classes beneficial. There is another place in Montreal that I would love to take a class but you have to speak French which I do not. Good luck, I don't know of any classes that teach the above type work in North America, I would be curious to see if there is any.
  5. Can you please tell me or reset my password as I can't log in on my other computer as I can't remember my password I used. My username is JourneyLeather and I am automatically signed on to my desktop and I have an IPad that I want to sign on to Leatherworker.net but can't remember. Could you send it to my alternate email co2tww@hotmail.com as my regular one is not working properly. Thanks, Carol Name: Carol UserName: JourneyLeather IP Address: 72.12.129.25 Email Address: twalker@mountaincable.net
  6. Very nice collars. What weight is the leather you use for lining? Thanks,
  7. That is EXACTLY what I was trying to describe, lol. Thanks so much. JourneyLeather
  8. I am looking for a piece of hardware and I have no idea what it is called. I am hoping someone knows what I am talking about, lol. I will try to describe it: Basically it looks like two small 'D' rings attached together by a swivel contraption. This prevents the straps attached to each from not being tangled, twisted. Does anyone know what I am talking about and where I can find these? Thanks for your help, JourneyLeather
  9. Can someone explain how to pad something, for example a dog collar in the attached (forum members) photo: http://leatherworker...=1 The leather that is used for lining for instance, are the edges folded over then sewn? If not, how are the edges finished? What is used for padding this item? Thanks, JourneyLeather Edit to fix typo
  10. I have a newbie question with respect to the dies, are they made to be used in conjunction with some sort of press or can you use a rubber mallet??
