BeltFanDan Report post Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) I am working on a project and looking to come as close to this color as possible. I would call it lavendar. It looks like an acrylic topical, not a dye. Is anyone familiar with anyone who makes a color as close to this as possible? Thanks; Dan Edited February 18, 2011 by BeltFanDan
Timd Report post Posted February 18, 2011 Go to Michael's, A.C.Moore, any craft store. They have craft acrylic paints in a myriad of colors. You should be able to match the color, or get real close. Dilute it 60/40 water/paint, and you should be good to go.

Timd Report post Posted February 18, 2011 Absolutley. I painted a picture album baby blue (customer request, not my idea, lol) Finished it with Satin Shene, she says it's still holding up 4 years later.
BeltFanDan Report post Posted February 19, 2011 Thanks for the advice, I'll probably build the color up, do it like 40/60, 50/50, 60/40 and a little higher, then finish it with satin sheen. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
