Gary's Exotic Leather Bracelets

Recommended Posts

Well I got the hint. If you post a picture and let people know that I will show you how to do it they will come and they did .lol. So I decided to post the instructions .now you can get the instructions at leisure.enjoy the instructions and if you need more help please feel freee to contact me at:

leatherman1457@aol.com

keep in mind that the brass can be modified to make bracers or any shape of design your imagination can come up with. I have made some of these 3" wide and made pendants to match by cutting out the shape of the pendant out of 18 to 20 gage brass and soldering a bail on the back and them proceeding like the braclet. women like bracelets that are a little thinner so I use 1.4" for women and 3/8 " for men. 5 1/2 to 6 1/2" long for women wrist and 6 1/2 to 8' long for men.

I use 18 gauge brass that I purchase froma jewelry supply store. I have them cut them for me since they have a sheet metal cutter and they only charge me .10 a cut. I get one sheet cut which makes about 100 bracelets. I have them cut them to different legnths from 6" to 8" depending on if it is for a man or a women

If you have any more questions plese don hesitate to contact me and ask. Ask and I will answer. lol

Please visit my website when you get a chance. Gary

Glad to see that the directions could be followed. Allen did a bracelet and did a real nice job. So I am Thanking every one that has done this project. I will do some for in the future. I think I might do the steel sheath project. It is easy and another way to use scraps. Gary

I found this metal cuff blank supplier while looking for supplies to try and make Gary's bracelet. I haven't purchased yet, so I can't recommend them, but wanted to share the link in case you're having the same trouble I did finding the metal cuff used in the tutorial.

If you do use them, I'd be interested to know what you think. Unfortunately, I've had to put this project off until after the holidays.
