How Do I Get This Effect On Leather ?

Hey people .

any one know how i get this effect on leather ? what kind of dye is used ? or what technique is used to apply it ?

It could be antique paste applied, let sit for less than a minute and then wiped off.

If I understand you want darker areas, If so I've did this with neatsfoot by putting more oil in a area and darken the leather, and then dyeing it.

Search bar. Block dyeing. Man, this must be gaining popularity (or perhaps just 'speedy' "etsy" style stuff).

Apply the dye heavier than usual, wipe with a paper towel wadded up.

The paper towel lifts the dye kinda "Wonkie". A little practice on a piece of scrap. Keep changing the portion of paper towel you wipe with.
