  2. Thanks Steve! The template for this bag unfortunatly got tossed out.... Due to using crappy poster board. I know Tandy has a new vertical & horizontal messanger bag kit. Not sure on the dimensions of these bags. Should say on Tandy's website. You can scale them up or down to fit your project. Those kits are a good starting point but they aren't anything I would be happy to put out with my name on it. I usually get those kits to understand the design process and build off and add to my liking to make a complete one off or for this particular bag I complete design it from my head. Design a mock-up out of poster board & tape. Hopefully this helps out some. If you have any other questions, please fell free to reach out! Thank you much!
  3. First off! Thanks for all the awesome feedback! It connects with two 3 foot sections of durable black upholstery leather that's connected to the mask via a "Y" shaped piece of 4 to 5 oz. leather that's then riveted on. It stays on pretty dang well! The way I cut & stitched the nose part of the mask helps the mask stay in place & not slip. I guess I'll figure out another method if someone doesn't have a good sized sniffer for the mask to sit on. The breath ability of the mask works out well. I made the nose piece to allow the mask to be supported by the bridge of the nose with a little help from the strapping to support some of the weight of the mask. I also did some wet forming with a mannequin head to form the leather to create somewhat of a "seal" to prevent fogging. You get enough air from the bottom of the mask. I currently don't have a motorcycle of my own, so I couldn't really test it on a motorcycle. I did get quite a few weird looks when I decide to test the mask to check the breath ability with my windows down in my car on the freeway. I was happy with it. I will be getting feedback with the client to check out his thoughts. Haha! Awesome! Found myself a new market!
  4. Rad! I've always wanted to make in of these! Good work!
  5. This mask was made for a client's former boss that rides and builds bobbers. His bike's name is "Rusty Mermaid" & has engraved scales on the tank. Here's the finsihed product of the "Rusty Mermaid" motorcycle mask.
  6. Here's a bag I had commissioned for a co-worker for his 15 inch Macbook Pro. I also put a removable insert/divider in. This was a fun/pain in the butt bag to make. This was the 1st bag I ever made & only 3rd or 4th leather project I'd done. The construction of the bag came striaght from my head, so the fit was super close almost didnt work. But now I have the template and I know what I need to do different on the next one. Trial and error make things better. Any feedback woud be rad! Thanks! -Asylum Leatherworks Pictures of the insert didnt make it on this post! need to re-size.....
  7. Cuff I just finshed up. Any feedback would be rad! Thanks! -Asylum Leatherworks
