  1. Howdy everyone! Yeah, I'm new here and in need some some helpful advice and guidance on getting a leather sewing machine. I apprenticed using a Juki Pro 2000 (cylinder type and also has a reverse) pictured below in a shoe, boot, saddle & tack repair and custom leather shop. Types of work to be sewn, include saddle skirts and sheepskin/felt replacements to the saddle skirts, harness and other heavy tack repairs. Other things I'll be making include chaps, chinks, western vests and related items. I also need to be able to sew lighter projects as well, kind of an "all-in-one" machine. I can't go any higher than $1,500 - $1,800 max to include shipping and TX sales tax. Investing in this machine so I can make more money to put toward having two surgeries as soon as I can afford to do so, so I'm not looking for a new machine, but a used "in good working mechanical condition" so it doesn't have to look pretty on the outside. Your suggests are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! CowboyD
