  1. I have a King Saddlery full floral-wild rose saddle and I am having a hard time figuring out who built the saddle at King's Saddlery. It is older, but unfortunately I do not know the exact age. It has three main stamps: 1.) on the latigo carrier which states "King's Saddlery MAKER Sheridan, WYO" 2.) on the cantle, same thing "King's Saddlery MAKER Sheridan, WYO" 3.) Rear cinch strap which says "Don King MAKER Sheridan, WYO" (also on rear cinch) I know this may be a question that no ones knows and I may just have to contact King's, however is there a "saddle maker" lingo when they put there makers mark on their saddles? I have got an old Harwood and same deal, it has the word Maker. I was told that when it says "King's Saddlery MAKERS Sheridan, WYO" for example, that it means a saddle builder in Don Kings shop built the saddle and NOT Don King himself, but when it says "Maker" that means the main dude built it. Is this true? Does anyone know if this saddle would be a Don King or a builder who worked for Don King? Thanks!
