  3. OK Perfect... I was thinking that the edge may get spoiled if I applied any pressure after the pain has dried? SO I take it that waxing it and then burnishing needs to be delicately done?
  4. Cool thanks so much for that!!! I didn't quiet understand the last part. So after the 3 times coats has dried ...you take a piece of canvas and run the wax all over the dried coat? And then burnish the that waxed edge with the canvas? Quote MultiQuote Edit

  10. Hello again guys, There are not many things I cant find using google... but I have given up on Fenice edge colour. I cant find any website that sells it. I know Feibings was making one in collaboration with Fenice but thats not the one I am after. I want the little bottles from Italy On their website they don't have pictures or details of the product/ cost or where to buy it. Could anyone please point me in the right direction? Cheers
  11. The Chief is always right!! Thank you very much Chief... I like to follow traditions and was trying to do as the book says. And you are right (I read about them being used in the printing business and in fact very very few still do.. very nice video on youtueb as well about it) they dont make them anymore. I'll head to the local stone makers.. Do Marble. Granite or Quarts have any advantages over one another? Thanks again, Cheers
  12. HI guys, I am in Perth, Australia and I went yesterday to the industrial area looking for a Litho stone. ..well NO one had it or knew what it is!! The leather working Manual recommends to buy a litho stone. So can anyone help me here. .What exactly am I looking for? I did a bit of research and found out that its litho lime stone... so I asked the stone shops which specialize in limestone about it, but no luck. Thanks for any feedback. Cheers
