snubbyfan Report post Posted October 21, 2015 Very nice. On my IWB's I prefer to curve my belt straps over. It just seems to carry better that way.
JLSleather Report post Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) Those look great, as always. But i gotta ask.. why is that cutout so popular on the leading edge? Edited October 21, 2015 by JLSleather

Good, Bad, or otherwise it lets you wrap the leather piece to help hold open the holster around to the back.

stu925 Report post Posted October 23, 2015 Beautiful work as usual, the 1911 holster looks particularly nice. Are you using a vacum to for your holsters? I've never been able to get such nice clean line forming by hand. Stu

Well, yah - I 'get' the point of it.. just saying that's THE only way people stiffen it? Edited October 23, 2015 by JLSleather

Kulafarmer Report post Posted November 23, 2015 Sweet holsters, I just downloaded patterns from Adams, going to make an IWB for my compact 1911 and a pancake for my 1911 full size, cant cary the damn things here but is nice to know i have the leather for it, everything i have been using up to now is Kydex and heavy nylon, Just getting back into hides, funny that you did a black with red stitch, thats how im going to do ipad and phone covers, Having a hard time finding non waxed heavy thread that will hold up, dont think i can run the tiger in my class4, damn sure going to try when it shows up, The pancake im going to put together will be about the same color as your first holster, but was going to hand stitch it with heavy green thread. Like the contrast, going to make a few different ones and stick them down at the gun shop as samples, Killer work bud!
