I like them all, particularly the 3rd one for the stitches. In just looking at it, looks like you stitch one skip one etc?

Very nice,

Kevin

Very nice work, some of the knives with larger handles appear to be sucking the leather in from the sides giving the appearance that the cases are becoming narrow at the handle end.

I'm trying to eliminate this on my cases so they end up being uniform from top to bottom.

I'm not sure if the answer is using a thicker welt near the handle or taper the sheath out at the handle end adding more leather to compensate for the shrinkage.

Is this "rope stitch" done with just one needle?...i've seen somebody else doing a similar stitch using raw hide thread and one needle but i didn't know what was called. It looks very nice !!!

Leather legion, yes sir, i use only one needle for this stitch. After beginning, you skip every other hole on the front and come through the hole you skipped from the back.

Tree Reaper, I add a spacer at the top of the sheath. This spacer is the length of the handle material and is glued on top of the regular welt.
