    Thank you every one for respond. I tried high quality foam from eBay. So far I like it a lot. I bought 3mm thickness for bottom. It's light, gives structure. Bag stays flexible. Much, much better than Kydex.

    I bought today "SoleTech Cloud 35-40" on ebay. It's material used during production of shoes. From pictures looks very similar. Will everyone know when it will arrive. Might be that.

    In my last bag I used Kydex that I bought on amazon for bottom reinforcement. It cost 10$ for 8 sheets. It worked ok but I am still not happy. I saw in Hermes videos and at Peter Nitz Facebook page some kind of material that I have problems identifying. First 2 photo is from Hermes. Third Peter Nitz

    @ DavidLDo you think Hermes is trimming the leather strips on a sides before folding it? It's hard to say from the picture. I saw this technique in Japanese Leather book

    Hello. I have trouble finding any information about welt. The piece of leather in a tube form that is used between sides of the handbag. On the first picture "welt" is attached to the sides of Hermes Kelly bag. Thank you .

    @jk215, @TinkerTailro Thank you for your responses. I finally found what kind of leather I want. It's BOX CALF. Now I need to figure out who are producing it. I found TANNERIES DU PUY and TANNERIES ROUX in France. I managed to buy one skin from DU PUY, ROUX have large minimal order. Does any one know any other tanneries that produce BOX CALF ? Thank you very much

    Hello Can you please help me identify what kind of calf leather is this one. And at what tannery can I buy it. I am located in Europe, France or Italy would be equally good. I am trying to do tote bag, and it looks as great leather for the project. If you have any suggestion let me know. Thank you.
