  1. Hello.

The link warning issue has been fixed so I wonder if you'd be so kind as to remove the warning screenshot from your post on my thread (in that it might scare people off from clicking my link.) Thank you so much

Hi Jim, yes of course. Even thought I just quoted the the person who posted the warning. Unfortunately I didn't remove the image on my quote.

Now I need to find out how to remove my comment. If I can't, I'll contact one of the forum's admin. to remove my comment, don't worry.

I follow you channel almost since I began leatherwork, and I never had any problem with your links ;)

Anytime :) And maybe you could ask the other member who posted the screenshot to remove it.

  2. Hello.
The link warning issue has been cleared up now so I wondered if you'd be so kind as to remove warning screenshot lest anyone is put off from trusting my site. Thank you so much.

Well I'd be glad to if there was an edit or delete button/link somewhere. Looked in the post and in my attachments page, nothing.

Ahh, OK, thank you for trying. Please have a good day.

  3. OK. Customer service at Jimdo are looking into it. Hopefully they will clear things up. Thanks all.
  4. Hmmmm. Yeah, Jimdo is a free (and popular) blogger site that I've used without issue for years. I can't comment on the warning that popped up; just to say that I'm running Avast on Firefox and don't get any warnings like that. I wonder what I can do about it. Thanks anyway. In the meantime, I've attached the .PDF here in case anyone is wary about my link. guitarStrap.pdf
  5. Hi. Well I have no idea what that is about but thanks for telling me. One is a link to Youtube which everybody uses and the other is just my blog.... I don't think there are any issues my end if that helps.
  6. https://youtu.be/rg8WzV7-1dU @Grumpymann I made a video showing how I made this backpack. I show how I make the straps. This one is kangaroo leather.
  7. Hi. I use new seatbelt webbing for the straps. I just made a couple of leather tubes (28cm) to enclose the webbing and some foam padding. V. simple.
  8. A 34 year old French made (Furygan) leather racing suit gets a new life as a contemporary style 20 litre rucksack. This was a collaborative design with my facebook followers.
  9. Anyone want to chime in about Mustang paste on coated leather?
  10. I know I can't be the only person doing this. So who do you know who is? I'd like to ask about treating the leather. The material I get is finished leather (kinda plastic). I contacted the makers and they suggested expensive Mustang paste. Does that sound right?
  11. About a hundred US dollars. Possibly about a tenth of the original price, I don't really know. Yes, I gave my followers a choice of suits and this is the one they chose. I plan to make another one soon, a smaller one. Thank you for dropping by. Jim
  12. Should anyone have any questions or comments, I'd love to hear from you. Peace.
