  1. I'm pretty new to this, but I have a few simple projects under my belt so far (kindle case, card holder etc). Apparently my work looks good enough that my girlfriend is trusting me to make her an envelope-style clutch. I'm hoping to make something in this style: http://treasurenest.com.au/store/images/envelope%20clutch%20rust.jpg , but I can't quite figure out how to stitch the bottom flap of the envelope. It doesn't seem like there will be enough room to pass needles through for a regular saddle stitch. Any tips for this newbie would be appreciated.
