My First Holster

this is my first holster ( and first post). it is a tandy kit. learned a few things from the process. Love all the info on this site! there is some detail around the brass that is not showing up well...pics taken with iphone

Volpert, first off, welcome to the forum.....very nice people and lotsa great information. The holster.....incredible!!!!!!! My 1st didn't look nothing like that. Great job!!!!! Picture is waaaaay big though!!!!!!! Semper-fi MIke

Thanks Mike! I will keep reading the forums and post new holsters soon. I started out doing custom dog collars an leashes. I got tons of request for bracelets and have done more of them than anything. I have done some cell phone cases and other stuff but I have always wanted to do the holsters.... And after several requests I am off and running. Kinda been nervouse about tooling them as I am still getting better on tooling. I am worried about loosing definition and such . Thank you Mike

From the old grump; looks like you done good, as long as those studs don't have any metal going all the way through to rub on the shooter. Mike

Hi Mike, Thank you! the studs are only through the strap of leather across the front. no metal inside the rig.
