Pearson No 6 Busmc Instructions

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone !

I have inherited from my dad a pearson no.6 and an Adler the green one, I have the instructions for the adler but not the pearson and now I have the pedals attachment in a separated box, and the wire that I think does attach to the single right pedal that is installed but not sure how to install and adjust this, as well of how to thread it ....:(

I am a leather worker as well, learned from dad, who learned from dad....The adler works pretty well until I use the pedals and loose the beat, then it skips a hole or goes backword...has anyone experience that ?

Hi Yzabel,

There are three pedals, two that make the machine go, and one that connects to the foot lifter. That's the horizontal bar that runs right across the top of the machine. If you press down on the right hand end of it the foot lifts up. The right hand end has a hole in it, that's where the foot lifter chain or link hooks on to. It goes down through a hole in the stand and connects to the pedal.

Here's the current state of a freshly typeset HM6 manual I have been working on. It is free for personal use, but not for re-publication anywhere. This is based on a number of different manuals for the HM6 I have copies of.

Amuckart,

That's was a tremendous effort on your part as well as an extremely generous thing to do for the trade. I for one thank you, and I'm sure others do as well.

HI, they were removed due to some incorrect information. Steve's Leather Machines in Australia are the worlds Pearson no 6 dealers. Muckarts link should be visible above. Regards Steve

Hi again ! after almost a year of searching for the shuttle-bobin in all my stuff, I finally found it yesterday !!!!

It might sound a bit weird, but I have no clue how it goes in the machine ... read most of the instruction, (nicely given by Singermania) and can't find details or a picture, I just don't want to do this wrong and break something. Especially after i saw how much they are for sale on e-bay !!!!

If someone could help, it would be greatly apprciated !!!

thank you all
