I guess I go off the beaten path. It's just doing till getting it right.

Finished. The Crimson red did not turn out like I wanted to. It was oil paint.

I was looking for a flaking look ,like paint peeling off.

I am going to work on that. Mixing colors to get right tone is another problem

I kind of like the out of the dirt or barn texture. Going to concentrate to on that

maybe everthing will improve.
