  1. The asking price is €150, so I'm assuming somewhere around €125 will get it.
  2. Great thanks for that, does it look like the bar is there from the small pic? I imagined something heavier or thicker, down to my lack of knowledge. I looked at the college sewing site, looks good thanks for the tip, even with the euro being weak, looks like great value. I may invest in a servo motor if I get the machine.
  3. Hi Complete sewing noob here I am looking for some assistance regarding a singer 211 G 166. I can going to look at an inexpensive Singer 211 G 166, it is not running and I only have a pic of the reverse side of the machine and have been doing research on-line. Is the a bar on the reverse side the raise the foot via a knee lifter, I cannot tell from the picture, but from the manual it seems to be a large bar with a light chain attached, of course this part may have changed over time to something different. As it is not running is there anything I should watch out for as spare parts are hard to find from what I have read on-line and even harder to find here in Ireland. Any advice greatly appreciated. Here is the pic from the advert. And tanks in advance for any insights
