Looking For Advice On Clicking Presses

Recommended Posts

I hope this is the correct section to be posting in.

I am hoping that someone has info on clicking presses. I have an old BSM hytronic press which has served me well for years, but I am now considering downsizing to a smaller studio. My big press runs on 3 phase, and I always vowed I would never move it again (at least my husband said he would never move it again!)! I dont think one of the little hand presses would work for me, the cutting area is really far too small. Does anyone know of an intermediate size of press that might be a little easier to accommodate in a smaller space?

That little press looks amazing, probably beyond my budget though, also It would add a huge whack to ship it to me in Scotland!

At least there seem to be presses with larger clicking surfaces as 12"/12" would just be far too small to accommodate my bigger knives. I have been spoilt, all these years by having the hydraulic press, I am just hoping the hand operated ones will do the job for me! Research continues.....
