Base The Same For Singer 29K Short Arm And Long Arm?

I'm looking for a base for my 29K60 and wondered if it would fit on the base (treadle) for a 29-4. I have the opportunity to buy a machine with with base, but as it's a 29-4, it's a short arm.

I'd keep the base, if it works for me, and sell the machine. But I'm not sure I'd want to break apart the set if they are best together, while that base and my head may be a less-than-perfect fit for each other.

The longer arm stands are 7" longer,if you mount the long arm stand on the short base the leg on the left end will be between your legs & you have the make up some mounts becasue the bases where the machine mounts is also longer on the long arm.
