Hello all, I'm new to this board and I figured I'd introduce myself first. I'm in CT and I'm thinking with taking up leather working again (I did it a bit some 15 years ago). I also have a quick question... How feasible for a beginner would it be to begin making either belts (specifically gun belts) and messenger bags? I'm wondering what sort of things I'd need to begin and how steep the learning curve would be. To be honest, I don't have a lot of money to invest at first but I'm not looking to make anything too ornate. (the things I've seen people making on this board are very intimidating) I'm looking to start out with some very simple designs but I have no idea where to begin... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
