  1. I found black rivets and other hardware on ebay/amazon while putting together a costume for dragoncon, they were pretty cheap. I cheated on the buckles though. Had some brass plated buckles, I sand blasted them, and enamel rattle canned them. Held up great but it was only for 4-5 days of use (still look like the day I painted them). Wouldn't want to risk the wear and tear on a longer project though. Powder coating is pretty durable, would be the way to go, but I dont have an oven yet. If you are trying to color something already in place, it may be pretty tough to pull off.
  2. This reply was exactly what I was looking for, thank you for your time sir.
  3. Dwight Bringing an old thread back looking for some feedback. You mentioned this as a carry holster, and I was considering making a holster this style myself. How did/does it carry? Thanks in advance. Eric
  4. Thanks for taking the time to do this sir. I watched several of them yesterday, decided I am going to learn this technique just cause it looks fun. I felt the video was just what I needed to explain it. Thanks again.
  5. Bumping an old thread to say, if that was you at dragon con, the armor looks even more amazing in person. Amazing.
