Does anyone have one and does it work for light duty leather, given it is an older machine with minimal sewing needle variety available. barra Report post Posted October 17, 2009 Escherblacksmith. A 306K is fine for upholstery/garment weight leathers but would struggle on tooling leathers. The foot clearence is about 5/16th ".
