Had nothing to do this morning so I decided to make a little belt pouch. Took a grooving tool and made the designs in the face and sides, I thought it looked nice and might do it elsewhere.

I never ceases to amaze me how a person can look at a tool and come up with a "new" way to use it to enhace their work. I am not a big fan of tooling, I like it, I just can't do it well. This is an excelllent way to add texture to a piece without tooling. Thank you for the idea as i am not creative enough to think of it on my own :dunno: . I do not know if it was intentional or just the way the color was applied to the leather, but I really like the first picture where the leather actually has different colors between the grooves. NICE
