  1. Can you tell me what kind of needles will work with it? I got the manual earlier today but it is kinda vague on some details. I am hoping to be able to run a small enough needle and thread in it to do chaps with and then still be able to change out the needle and thread and do heavier weight stuff like breast collars and saddles with it.
  2. I just acquired an Adler 105-64 leather sewing machine. I am looking for the user manual that goes with it so that I can make sure I have it threaded right. If anyone has one, please let me know. Any other helpful info on it will be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU
  3. Thanks guys for the input. I know that I am not having issues with the anitque because of temperature because I have been VERY paranoid about that problem. However, I wonder if it has to do with the quality of leather I am using? I have noticed that dye doesn't seem to be penerating as deeply and evenly as it.
  4. Hello, I have been noticing lately that some of the stuff that I been basketstamping lately seems to be fading after a couple of days. WHY? What am I doing wrong or what can I change that will make it better? Also, I got the Meander Cross set from Tandy a while back and just finished a belt with the medium sized one. I thought that I had done the stamp even and deep but I have noticed the past couple of days that some of the stamps on the belt have faded or aren't as deep as they should be. What did I do wrong? What can I do to change it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  5. Hello, I have been having some problems lately with my antiquing not coming out quiet right. Sometimes the color doesn't come out evenly or it comes out splotchy and streaked. At other times it comes out great but doesn't seem to last very long. Times like these it seems to be coming off after I have applied a sealer. ( I have been using the resolene finish by fiebings.) Any suggestions or tips that have worked for you?
