  1. Any suggestions on what weight leather would be good for a tooled ladies handbag? I know veg tanned is needed for the tooling, but I'm not sure of the weight. I'm using Tandy's "Downtowner" pattern which has Sheridan-type tooling on the back/front flap section, a separate front that's not tooled and a gusset for the sides. Possibly a heavier weight for the tooled parts and a lighter weight for the rest??
  2. That's exactly what I'm after. Thanks for the suggestion.
  3. I'm thinking of adding a black border around the edges of a slim jim type holster that will be brown overall. How would I go about "masking" off the area so that the black has an even border and doesn't bleed into the brown?
  4. welcome aboard Paul
