Thank you. The octopus was for my nephew. I told him to find a picture of what he wanted on the wallet and that is what he found. that was also my first project with out a kit. Lesson one keep fingers away from straight edge when cutting with a utility knife. They are very sharp and get deep into the flesh before you realize it even went in.

Great job! Yeah.... the utility knife thing is a hard lesson. It visited me a few months back. Now I line everything up, start to cut, stop cutting and check to see my fingers are all out of the way, then finish the cut. ;)

I did my first leather projects with my uncle in 1985 while visiting him. The good ole Tandy basic kit. I didn't do anymore until 4 years ago. Since then I have done maybe tripple the number of items posted here.
