Hello i am Joppie From the Netherlands.

I bought this old machine from my older brother it was from my Dear Father.

He said it was a single stitch macine for soles.

I never looked at it futher for a decade of 2 :).

But then i saw on you tube that it realy does transport the leather through the needle.

I am missing a piece i saw.

Can some one help my with pictures of the missing piece or a scetch so i can repair it ?

We used other machines in the past, but i want to have this one running again for hobby.

Search this forum, there is someone (in Canada I think it was) that specialize on these. That sells part and needles. I might be wrong, but I know for sure its information about it here somewhere. You can perhaps find the part list and some help on this.

Good luck with your sole stitcher

I do not have any direct help for you. Just wanted to comment that those are one of the coolest sewing machines ever.

One of these will for sure know where, if they are not able to help you them self. http://www.pilgrimshoemachine.com/ http://www.leightons.ca/catalog-general.html

Both makes parts too. By the way, I have seen these for sale on on European EBay sites pretty regularly.

Hi Wiz,

as I said earlier they show up regularly on European Ebay sites; such as the Ebay .de, -.nl. -fr. Seen them from 35 Euro (48$) and up. I understand their needles are hard to find. Perhaps not any more?

Hi Manny, do you have allot of these needles? I think there are many people looking for them. Then again, its just what I have seen people searching for on the web.
