The saddles are beautiful. I also really like the canteens.

Wow! Good job, those are gorgeous!

When/where/from whom did you learn to make saddles?

A local saddle maker, that has made saddles over 50 years taught me here in West Valley Utah. He has been teaching me now for about 6 or 7 years. (off and on) I feel really lucky to be taught some of the tricks by a true old master.

Those are beautiful. I really like the contrast between the black of the seat and the rest of the saddle. Great looking work. I agree with freak though(and isn't that a scary thought), you may need to break out the feed bag a little more often. LOL.

Thanks for the compliments.

At the price of hay now days, you have to feed sparingly. LOL Actually all of my horse's are to fat and under used.

I'm not sure who made those reata's. I just bought them.

I'd like to, but I'm trying to find a place to buy the plastic ones to cover myself. The place I bought that one from has gone out of business. I covered that one with Herman Oak saddle skirting.
