YamaBushi Worshop

Hi everyone, I hope someone has an answer. I have been looking religiously for a source to buy 1-2oz glazed leather. I cannot for the life of me find anywhere that sells it. I have an old leather coat that is sorta shiny and the leather must be pretty thin to be able to sew nice clean French seams. I am guessing that its about 1oz leather. Thanks for any feedback!
