  1. Thanks so much for the tips. I will try this.
  2. @fredk, I will look into the repair gel. How does this work? Do you fill in the scratch, and then polish it?
  3. Yes, they were expensive. I'm not a boot maker or anything, I just make a few projects here and there, and was asked if these could be fixed? I figured it would be tough to try to get the scracth out, but thought I'd take a chance and ask. Thanks for the reply.
  4. Hello everyone, I need to know if a boot like this can be repaired? It's a large scratch and I'm not sure how to go about getting it fixed. I was thinking of sanding around the scratch, then trying to buff with either saddle soap or an oil? Any ideas??? Thanks
  5. Hello, I have purchased some hides that are now showing signs of mold on them. How can I remove the mold and make sure it doesn't return. Thanks
  6. Thanks alot. I did go ahead and attach the other slide and yes it made a big difference, its working like it should now. I just couldn't figure out how I would get it to hold up, without me having to hold it when I slid it out, and your advice solved my problem. Thanks again..
  7. No offense taken, and any critique helps. Yes its already too heavy with that folder in it. So you are saying I should use two slides for the drawer and that will keep it from sagging?
  8. After reevaluating my needs for a tool holder, I went all out and built a rolling cart, and here is the end product. I have 2 slide out shelves and 1 slide out side box. Its my first woodworking project, so I think it came out okay, for what I need.
  9. Thanks alot, just the finishes I'm looking for as well and the prices look reasonable.
  10. Thank you, that one is nice, but I would like to have some of my tools hanging, but I may be able to incorporate that type of design on a hanging rack of some sort.
  11. Yes, I've looked at ohio travel bag, but I don't have a wholesale account and their affiliate has it, but its pricey, and as I said I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it at this time.
  12. Does anyone have a similar rack that they've made themselves similar to this, that will stand on a table. Is there a woodworking plan I could use? My tools have taken over my table, and I need one like this that I can make, I just need some other ideas on how to add drawers being that I've not worked with wood all that much. Thanks
  13. Hello everyone, I'm trying to locate a suppluer that carries these type of latches, but won't charge an arm and a leg for shipping them to Texas.
