  1. Anyone here know him? He lives in Wilburton, OK. I know he makes other saddles but the most I've seen are his bulldogging saddles. I have one and its awesome!
  2. Houlihan, Where did you get your tree from if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking to try and build one myself but don't know where to go for trees since this is my first build.
  3. No sir never bought one. We just had twins so the money got diverted elsewhere. But after considering for a while I decided I probably would go with one of their trees. I know it's inexpensive but I can't take a chance on getting a bad product and being out money. I'm looking for a bulldogging tree. I want to build me/ my brothers a bulldogging saddle.
  4. I kinda had the same thoughts as you all did. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is really true. I really don't know what direction to go in so that's why I'm asking so many questions. Thanks for all your replies. Good help
  5. I was wondering if anyone has seen any of their trees? I have seen saddles but I guess now they are making trees as well. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  6. Hey thanks TXAG. I was thinking that was what it might be but being a newb to all this I sure didn't know. Thanks for all your help from one AGGIE to another.
  7. this is what im looking for.
  8. I tried to post a pic but it wouldn't let me. Said posting images was not allowed. Any suggestions?
  9. Ok. Ill check the links although I don't think this is what im looking for. Thanks for the help.
  10. Hello Im wondering if anybody can help me find a tutorial or show me where I can find how to plait a nylon or paracord horn wrap. I know its not leather but all the saddlemakers on here surely know how to do it or where to find out how. I need to cover my calf roping saddle horn and would rather learn how to braid one myself rather than buy one. Thanks.
  11. Just wanted to say hello and glad I found this website. I have been around leather and leatherworkers all my life but have never really done anything with it until now. I would like to build a saddle in the future and i know this is a place for some great advice. I would like to get in touch with some saddle builders or repairers in or around my area so that maybe i can get some hands on experience so if anybody knows any please help me out. Thanks and GOD Bless!
