  1. Thank you al for your responses. Very helpful. And cheers to Lil Doodler for the link. Awesome.
  2. Hi Everyone, I recently purchased my first leather skiving machine. Its by Golden Wheel or something like that. Anyway, not sure whats up with it. A few times now when I've gone to skive a long strip, it doesn't pull the leather smoothly through anymore. Its almost like it gets stuck and I have to assist it by pulling it through myself. Its not because the presser foot is too far down. I've adjusted the presser foot several times so that it can a thinner or thicker skive, but that has not solved it. I shot a short video (link below) of it while trying to do it. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Thanks so much. Not sure what I've done wrong. Thanks for your help in advance! Dres
  3. Hi folks, I should have said the lines are on the nice top side of the leather. So you know how the presser for is kinda curved?! Well the corners of the foot leave these lines/indentations all thought the piece that it has passed through. It shoes too much for my liking. Any advice? It's definitely not the blade being dull. Thanks guys, Dresden
  4. Hi folks, I recently purchased a Golden Wheel brand leather skiving machine. Its pretty lovely except it leaves these lines in the leather when I pass the leather through. What can I do to fix this? Any ideas? Thank you, Dresden
