My own personal daily concealed carry holster.

I like the color but the problem is the belt I made's black.

I know that color doesn't really make a difference when it's supposed to stay concealed but I just know that I'm going to have to make a black holster to match the belt.

Nice job on the holster and belt. I like that holster a lot. the profile looks like the gun would be nice and close to the body. Is that color on the holster a standard color.

Thanks, the holster does snuggle the gun right into my side.

The dye's Fiebings Professional Oil dye in saddle tan. It's the leather that's different. I tried out a double shoulder of 9 ounce that was factory finished on the flesh side. The grain side's darker also.

These two holsters were dyed out of the same bottle of saddle tan with two different kinds of leather.

That's a very nice design for the holster. And, the difference between the two is an outstanding example of why it's always a good idea to test your dyes on a scrap of leather from each hide.

Thanks, actually, I can't take all the credit for it. I worked with a customer on the design. He had an Idea in his head and had me make it for him.

This is the one I made for him;

Do you mind if I try that pattern?

Not only do I not mind, I'd feel flattered. One thing I found is that tooling the center of the front panel increases it's length and helps to initiate the curve.

Lookin' forward to seein' how it comes out.
