So Sorry! Do you want to talk about it? Who was your Gracie?

  9. They are fastened to one another to make a single piece and then backed with quilted cloth to clean up the look and give it some comfort. It took about 3 weeks to cut out and rivet together.
  10. A new design by Wildland Outfitters. Excuse the roughness it just a prototype.
  11. Generally I use a mixture on brewers (pine) pitch and bees wax to coat the inside of mugs and bottles. Both are readily available on the internet and are relatively cheap. They are sold by the pound most places. As for molten a double boiler works really well although not necessary, whatever you heat it up in don't expect to use it for anything else ever again. also I would suggest covering anything you don't want ruined.
  12. wow very nice work some of the best armor i have seen in a while. As a dabbler in armor i wouldn't mind seeing how you constructed it. Are the edges sewn by hand or a machine? That spaulder is a nice piece of work also.
  13. No I'm not going to color it I like the oiled leather look. I have been tossing around the idea of a border, or maybe just using my pebble backgrounder on the whole thing. I'm not sure which way to go with that yet. I will post the final product so everyone can see.
  14. That is exactly the kind of info I'm looking for and I thank you very much for you input. sometimes i just get stuck when working with a new idea and hearing others opinions and advice is a great help.
  15. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
