  1. Another guy on this site had shared that as well. I started using that method and works great. Thanks for sharing..
  2. There are companies who make custome clicker dies but what I have found is its pretty pricey. If you are making duplicates and selling then im sure its well worth it.
  3. I have only made a few shields.. I used one of my old shields as the template.
  4. Liquid latex? Any particular particular brand? I am pretty new to leather work and have tried resist but cant ever seem to get ir right. Thanks fod any advice. Your pan looks super nice by the way!
  5. That is also what i did for the shields. I have also used bag stiffener or the thin plastic cutting board material to make templates.
  6. Super nice shields! what oz leather do you use? I just finished my first shild the other day. I have a lot to learn thats for sure.
  7. I have a swivel knife, B203 beveler and a P217 pear shader. Yes I cut the outlines. I just dont know how deep is deep enough. I also wet the leather as well and let it dry a bit before I started. I know I obviously need a few more tools. From what I have read, better ones also help.
  8. So I made my first leather shield today. I am very new to any kind of leatherwork. I have made a few radio harness and straps with stamping and paint but no tooling.I only have a few tools for tooling, three to be exact. this took me a while to say the least. Any guidance would be appreciated.
  9. I would like to be added also please
  10. I am just picking up leatherworking as well. I have made a few radio straps and radio holsters. Here is one i just finished the other day.
