I have a nephew riding saddle bronc in high school rodeo and I want to make him a halter but can't find a pattern. The halter he has borrowed is nylon so I can get measurements but can't fully get the concept of how to construct it out of leather. He is worried about it being strong enough and I know they are constructed out of doubled harnesses leather. Anyone have any tips or patterns that would help?
