roadster1948 Report post Posted March 25, 2013 Hi. I need some help, I am recovering a bench seat off a classic car and have bought a second hand singer 211g 256. The guy I bought it off showed me how to thread it but I downloaded the info for a 165,166, 265, 266 which I presume are similar to a 256 and it stated that the bobbin should be held in the right hand between the thumb and forefinger and the thread should unwind from the bottom left to right so the bobbin is unwinding clockwise is this right? because this is opposite to what he showed me.also does a m36 thread require a 18 size needle.
