  1. Hello all, I have a newbie question for ya. I am getting stuff ready to start leathercrafting and am having a hard time figuring out the best thread for belt and holster stitching. What have you found that works the best as far as strength and appearance? Which size of ply? What type, waxed or unwaxed, linen or artificial? I am kinda leaning towards the waxed linen thread after all the reading I have done but would like some advice from the experts, people who have actually made holsters, belts, etc. I appreciate all the help, I look forward to your replies, Peace and blessings, Vincenzo
  2. I think you have some great holster making skills. Could you tell me what type of hand sewing thread you use? Thanks for the great picks and help.
  3. That is a very nicely made holster. How long did it take to make?
  4. That is a very nice setup. Thanks for posting the pics.
  5. Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Vince and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I am a beginner leathercrafter and am very interested in learning this amazing craft. I just purchased my first kit to get started with and I have some tools on their way this week. I hope to one day be a master like others I see on this site. I can't believe all the beautiful work I have seen on the site so far. I hope to be able to make functional holsters, sheaths, belts, and all styles of wild man gear at some point so any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Like I said before, I am a newbie. Thanks for such a great site, I look forward to getting to know you all. Peace and blessings, Vince
