finished dragon mask

Recommended Posts

Here is my finished dragon mask.... I dyed the dragon... I really like the way it dyed... really beats painting.

The moth mask is the one I thought I had ruined with gesso. I was able to dry brush on it... It turned out very soft looking. BTW Thanks for all the support and the wonderful comments. Now I am really getting serious !! definitely have the bug. Linda

The dragon mask is absolutely gorgeous! The moth one is really nice too, but I gotta admit, I'm partial to dragons ;)

Lovely work, Linda. I particularly like the dragon, and it looks as though you did really well to salvage the moth from gesso too. I shudder to think what that did to the leather - I use it on papier mache a lot and know how tough it can be once it has dried.

Well done!

Helen.

thx Helen.... I did this without knowing anything about tooling.... but when I learn to tool I will make another one.. and it will be better I promise. The moth .... it is my favorite so far. I dry brushed on it... it is really soft looking... be in rl. Just hate to spray it now... guess I will try a matte finish. Maybe it will save the soft look. Linda
