Bag Kote, Tan Kote, Supposed To Be A Semi-Permanent Finish?

Recommended Posts

I asked Feibing directly, and didn't get a straight answer.

is bag kote and tan kote a semi-permanent finish, in the sense that it does not rub off easily ?

is it analogous to a clear coat spray paint finish ?

Yes, it doesn't rub off easily.

No, it soaks in, so it's not really like a clear coat.

My understanding is that it is not waterproof or a water barrier finish. Your leather will spot. I haven't tried it, but just FYI.

Yes, as Kings said, it is NOT water proof (nor is it water resistant); it is NOT a water barrier finish and it WILL spot. It DOES have a nice mellow finish that many fellows here like, though.
