mmirob Report post Posted April 30, 2010 As a few of you know, who have watched me progress through my holster hobby, I have this thing for elephant and stingray so I figured I would try one using both! Ok, I like 1911's too. ) I shortened the width profile on this one to see how it would feel. I love the way it feels on but did not give me the room for the second stitch line adjacent the firearm. I like the way the second stitch line looks.IMO I have two others I am finishing now in a honey elephant and black elephant. Also new is my new curved belt loop. Yes it looks good but is functional too. It allows for a "bite" on a smaller belt. i.e. You can wear a 1 1/4 belt in a holster designed for a 1.5 and not have a loose holster.
