  1. I am not into saddle making just the occasional holster, knife sheath, notebook cover etc. I am mainly into tooling leather but the needto sew products cannot be denied, to date it has all been hand stitched and Iam looking to save time if at all possible. I have not needed to sew more than 3 layers of7-8 oz to date andI really do not expect to. Thank you for your advice, I appreciate your help.
  2. I have found an Adler 30-1 locally that the guy wants $395 for. I know very little about this machine other than that it is still in production with minor modifications and parts are still available. As far asthe particular machine, it probably needs a little work because when I tried toturn it, it was very difficult to get it to cycle. it did cycle but needsoiling I'm sure. The price says firm so I'm not sure if there is any wiggleroom in the price. I am only a hobbyist for now but would like to take it tothe next level with a machine. would this serve my purposes? Or should I notwaist my time? Thank you in advance for any input.
