Good job! I like the barbed wire around the basketweave. Very appropriate for some mules! We had a mammoth jack for several years and he had Armstrong steering. He was a blast to ride. When he heeehawwed the earth seemed to shake, especially if you were on his back. He just adored our mares, but they hated him with a passion. We finally got one bred to him and she had a gorgeous little mule foal. The mother was a purebred cutting Quarterhorse.

We bought that Jack at an auction in Tucson. My mother-in-law and I went there and bid on him and got him for all of $50.00! He was barely a year old and wow did he get big. He was very sweet natured and followed us around like a puppy. Your halter made me think of that Jack we had. We finally sold him to a ranch out near Douglas, AZ.

I like the conchos on that, Bonnie! They seem appropriate for a bronc halter. Biker broncs! lol

You have to be so tickled that there isn't a zipper needed on that anywhere! You need to do more carving and tooling!

Love the halter, my Dad has three mules and absolutely loves them. One of them (Festus) is an older mule who is very fun to ride, but with an ornery streak; he loves to scrape women off his saddle with trees
