Black Friday Sales?

Recommended Posts

Anybody know of any companyies/suppliers that have black Friday sales to the general public?

I'm familiar with Tandy, and know they have a November sale going on, but was curious if they or anybody else had something more specific.

Thanks!

Tandy is the only one I know of. I generally avoid even leaving the house on Black Friday. Far too many crazed weirdos out there taking unnecessary risks for my taste.

You mentioned Tandy's november sale but some stores have a black Friday sale as well. I know the Harrisburg PA store will have one this year. they'll also accept orders by email, fax and phone. Contact them for exact details.

I'm with Oink on this one. I'm unaware of any sales but you should look at Springfield Leather Company(see banners on forum). They might. Once, I arrested two women for getting in a fist fight over a LeapPad. For those of you who don't know what that is, its a computer tablet for kids. And by fist fight I mean hair pulling, clawing and rolling around on the ground. So, have SLC mail you some lovelies right to your home and watch the craziness on the news!

LOL, My poor sister works at Walmart and her life is in danger every year I swear. Once she got me a Harry Potter book for xmas on Black Friday Gen and I swear I still laugh at the story. I am assuming you mean online leather companies. Springfield Leather Company (banner at top like Mike said) has 3 10 day deals every month so I'd check there first. You mentioned the clothing industry and right now the have some shearling and some tobacco lamb that might be right up your alley. I'd just check their sales every 10 days and forget Tandy. Cheryl

I'll add my vote for the SLC 10 day deals. They do offer quite nice deals. The last two sets featured a good bit of deertan and garment leather. This month is more horse heavy which I love, but as Cheryl said, there is some nice sheep sheering and lamb up over the Thanksgiving week if garment weight is more what you are looking for.

I always work on Black Friday so i don't get out to any sales... not that I would even if I was off! I have watched the aftermath on the news enough times that I would prefer to just hide :)

I have to agree, online is the best option anyway.

Any one else notice TLF didn't put a 50% off any one item in this years BF sale? I'm sure they will drop you one price level.

I did get a Tandy Black Friday ad - and you do get a price drop of one level. I did not see any must haves for me BUT they put the stamps on sale for $4.99! Claim that the regular price is 9.99! Has anyone bought a stamp lately? have they improved the quality or just bumped the price. I could swear they were on sale all last year at less...

Yeah, the prices of their stamps went up to $9.99 retail this summer. But the quality seems to be a little better in these newer ones. Still not the same quality and clarity of impressions of the old craftool stamps though.

I have bought some stamps from ST-Leather, a local wholesale place in saint louis, and they are only $4 a piece, some of them aren't that great, but others have been fine.
