Bonsai

I'm a newbie here and my daughter was looking over my shoulder at some pics on here and asked if I was able to makea camera strap. One concern is how leather edges will feel hanging directly on her neck for extended periods of time. My intial thought is to attach some kind of padding to that section. Any ideas? Also, if anyone has plans that would be helpful as I was planning on finding one of my old ones and trying to copy it... Bonsai
