Hat Making

Recommended Posts

There were some videos on youtube that I saw that didn't necessarily go through every little detail, but they did have enough information to give you a good starting point. I'll look and see if I have links to them saved.

Chris

Check out this videos and see what you think. I think it might give you a good starting point http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTJCi63O6Uw&feature=channel_video_titled

Years ago I had an old Marine cover that had turned white on the outside, . . . still OD in the inside.

I cut it apart, . . . very carefully, . . . and used it for the pattern for my suede hat.

When I first saw myself in the mirror, . . . I thought it looked just like McArthur when he waded ashore in the Phillipenes, . . . hence the name.

May God bless,

Dwight

If you go to a fabric store like Joann's and look in the accessories section of the pattern books there are lots of various hats including baseball hats.

Just adapt the instructions to leather.
