  1. Thanks for all the valuable information. I appreciate the link and all the details both of you provide. Thanks so much
  2. I hope some one can help me with this. I have been making leather items for the past few years mainly as gifts and for a few local folks. I am wanting to give my leather business a name and come up with a product stamp. My question: what if anything do I have to do to make sure I do not infringe on anyone else's company or have any other legal issues that I am unaware of. I live in Colorado. Any input would be great. Thanks
  3. Thank you, I will pick them up from Sheridan leather.
  4. I am replacing the stirrup leathers on a couple of youth saddles to allow some more room. I am going to keep the original fenders. My question: what size of rivet is best for these types of repairs and what is a good rivet setter to have. Thanks
  5. Thank you for all your advice, that helps---Dean
  6. What is the best type of surface to cut leather on without dulling your knife. I am looking at getting a new knife and want to keep it working the best I can.
  7. Hopefully someone can help. I am building some horse tiedown nosebands. I am looking for the posts that can go on the ends that will run through a metal ring. I believe they are called halter bolts. Does anyone know of a supplier? Thank you
