Cartridge Belt Question - Laced Loops.

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I start to make my firts cartrigde belt today and I try to do the cartridge loops using the laced loop method.

I found pretty easy to do, and I wonder if it is much easier and faster than sewing them.

But... I'd like to know the pros and cons of this method and some hints to make a better job.

Regards from Brazil !!

Hi Luis,

I can tell you it's faster than hand stitching. I've done both and don't have a preference. It all depends on the

look I want. One thing about looping them is that you can easily snug them when the cartridges start to loosen. You

just run a lace through the back of the loop behind the belt.
